A Life of a “CAFA” Student

                        vlcsnap-2012-06-30-11h15m41s228

This video presentations is for Tarlac State University, College of Architecture and Fine Arts 2012 Freshmen Orientation , it’s been our eagerness to make an audio video presentation for freshmen for them to understand the real story of being an Architecture and Fine Arts student and to leave a legacy as well. We asked our fellow “CAFA-milyas” why B.S Architecture and Fine Arts as their chosen course , some said “Naubusan na ng slot sa ibang college” (which is definitely true, if your first and second choice course were out of slot and not accepting enrollees definitely they’ll encourage you to take B.S Architecture or B.S Fine Arts   rather,) This year, about 200 freshmen Architecture students were enrolled at CAFA a major history (I thought)because during our time we‘re only hundreds but to face the reality, only few will survive as our professors says “matira matibay” , other major reasons are “it’s my fathers choice” (well that was my reason before but now I embraced Architecture with open heart), some says  “it’s my childhood dream” well we hope they fulfill their dream..

Moving on, here is the video I’m talking about, please give spare time to watched  with open eyes. LOL enjoy!!

Why B.S in Architecture and B.S in Fine Arts?

And here is second video that showcases “Buhay CAFA” in a musical and dramatic way, hahaha. Credits to my friends, classmates and fellow CAFA-MILYAS for giving their valued time to take some shots and hot seat interviews. The videos aren’t that perfect but the craziness and the honesty of the video are incomparable.

A CAFA Life…

P.S.

We, my friends were collaborating for a film about a life of an Arki student, hope it will be release some time this year…“CHERRRIIIIIII!!”

NOKIA SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE

This week is #NOKIASustainabilityWeek and I want to be part of this epic challenge to help and to share what we can do to save our environment.

DAY 1: The Walk

The Walk

After riding a jeepney, I have to walk 200 meters going to our school, instead of riding a tricycle which costs P8.00 I rather walk alone and save some money and for exercise for health benefits.

DAY 2: The Backyard Farm

After school I do visit my backyard farm which I planted some Ampalaya (Bitter Guards). I used cement bags instead of buying plastic bags and the like  to make it more usable.

DAY 3: I SAVE Water

I Save Water

Most of my relatives and family members do not often use glass water while brushing their teeth, they didn't know that we can conserve water by doing that, so I always remind them to use glass while brushing.

DAY 4: Canned Goods To Use For Good

IMG_4532

My mom always thought us to re use old cans as  pot for plants. The idea of using cans for pots generally creates to lessen the waste of cans being trashed.

DAY 5: Water Cycle

Day 5 when I thought that it would be better if to used the water after shower  for watering plants.

DAY 6 : Handicraft

It’s been a day after finishing this handicraft made of old newspapers and I think it would be great to share with you guys.

DAY 7: Old Phone To Help Tarsier And Environment

It’s been a year when I enrolled at GLOBE PAPERLESS BILL which means that instead of receiving monthly paper bills I opt to help the environment by choosing to receive my monthly internet bills thru e-mail. After so, I decided to drop my old NOKIA phones to help Tarshiers, for every old phone drops equivalent to P100.00 for tarshiers.

Photo Walk

I did some photo walking around our house and in the backyard, and this are what I just found. With my 14.0MP Canon digital camera with me I took this amazing (okay, not really that amazing) subjects and as a practice for my Photography hobby. What I loved about doing this photo-shoot is the fact that I enjoy myself doing some photographing with these rare things. I would definitely encourage my friends who love photography as well to take a Photo walk sessions with me. But sad to say, my camera is not that good, I really want to have a professional camera that will level up my skills in Photography (level-up talaga? haha). By the way, I just joined the last 40th Architecture Week (Photography and Videography Contest Category) held in Adamson State University last December but unfortunately lost the competition hehe. Enjoy the photos.!!
